The companion book to The “Braine” Book is Days of Long Ago by William’s son “Halby” Braine (1869–1951) – another “History of Bega” told in an entertaining storytelling style about people, places and events in the early days of life in the Bega Valley.

100% of proceeds from book sales and the generous donation to the museum for digitisation of newspapers are gifts to the Bega Pioneers’ Museum and people of the Bega Valley and beyond.
