This is the first major history of the Bega town ship that has been compiled in over 80 years. It is a joint South Coast History Society and Bega Valley Historical Society initiative.
The launch will be on Saturday February the 4th at 2pm at the St John’s Church Hall, opposite Bega Pioneers’ Museum.
Guest of honour is Dr. Peter Alexander who for many years was the senior vet at the Bega and Cobargo Veterinary Clinics for many years and has a keen interest in the history of this fascinating town.
Afternoon tea will be served and society members who attend will receive a free copy of the book (RRP $20.00).
